Lego The module can really do this kind of calculation?
Or the cube is not really mixed at the start and the robot is always the same moves ...

remxcube well as the robot can do this kind of calculation. I do not know if you noticed at the beginning the robot scan the faces of the cube and put in memory all colors scanned.

After following it must be an algorithm (mathematical?) Quite simple once you understood the find but I dare not imagine.

I find that quite impressive.

Do not oubier that lego mindstorms is still lego and thus originally a game for children. I had the first version of lego robot, and the program provides for the program was far from NTX propose functions nécesssaire to solving the rubik's cube.
So either it has changed, the type has something else in the hull of NTX or .. bein I already gave my alternative ;)

Resolve the rubik'cube is not very complicated, the solution is often sold with the cube, just to identify a number of cases, and apply the appropriate formula to complete the cube crown crown. Where it is impressive, it is with those who solved the cube in seconds qq complementing each side at the same time.

In the case of a robot, it suffices for each formula to set the sequence of movement to achieve it. Once the scan of all the sides done, the robot calculates the order in which its forms. In an optimized version, we can imagine that the robot solve the cube in a minimum of movement.
