Apple today announced its combination with Air France, Continental, Delta, Emirates, KLM and United to offer the first seamless integration of the iPod ® audiovisual systems on board. These six airlines will offer their passengers iPod connections integrated seat airplane that will provide food, refill air and viewing video content on their iPod screen from their seats.
The iPod connectivity will be available on board Air France, Continental, Delta, Emirates, KLM and United from the second half of 2007. In addition, Apple is working with Panasonic Avionics Corporation to expand the iPod connectivity to other major companies.

hmmm apparently Air France denied ...
"Contrary to the assertion in the press release from Apple today, Air France dément next installation of a system of specific connection to digital iPod", responded the French airline said in a statement.
"Apple is a partner of Air France but it is very premature at this time to talk about such a project," said Air France.
